Time in Le Mans...

After our time in Strosburg, we took the train to Le Mans, where Zac is currently living. His apartment was nice and although small, very comfortable and homey. It's in
a building where at this time he is the only tentant. We spent Christmas Day at
the apartment where Zac cooked our Christamas dinner, which I have to say was the best meal I had during the whole trip.He made us hobo dinners with chicken, potatos,
and carrots. My son has become quite a good cook and I'm very impressed with his
kitchen talents. The apartment is across the street from a bakery where Zac picked us up some pastries. My favorite part of Le Mans was old town, with the narrow, rock streets which we walked the second day there when Zac gave me a tour.We rode the bus out to the university where he teaches and then to the grocery store where he shops. My last night in Le Mans we walked to old town and watched the light show on the front of the cathedral. It was quite something to watch, the front of the cathedral would change colors as angels playing different musical instruments would float down each side of the front.I enjoyed seeing the town and meeting his friend Emily, when she dropped by one night, but I have to say I also enjoyed just sitting in the apartment and watching the dvd's of the show 'Coupling' and having a few laughs to relax.
